The group is existed since 1959, but in the name of Lautitia Children Choir from 2006 only, since József Nemes is the conductor of the choir. He was also the member of the choir as a child. The group participated in several hungarian and international choir competitions in the past 58 years, they won many competitions and festivals. They participate in Kodály Filharmónia in Debrecen, and Csokonai Theatre and they also serve for the Greek Catholic Church and city of Debrecen.

We would like to emphasise the European- and World Choir Championships (2011, 2013), second prize on the XXVII. Bartók Béla International Choir Competition (2016), and on the 35. Preveza International Choir Competition (2017), and first prize on the XVI. Budapest International Choir Competition (2017), the prize of KÓTA and the Prima prize of Hajdú-Bihar county (2016).
